Frequently Asked Questions
Are mushrooms psychoactive?
No, these are dysfunctional mushrooms. Some mushrooms are gastronomic: porcini, chanterelle, button mushroom... Others are medicinal: Chaga, Lion's Mane, Cordyceps, Reishi. And finally, some are hallucinogenic. But they all have nothing to do with each other. Comparing medicinal mushrooms with magic mushrooms is like comparing alcohol with water. :)
What is the difference between powders and capsules?
The powders and capsules are essentially the same products. The difference lies in the intake and dosage. The powders are to be mixed with a drink or food. The capsules are to be swallowed with a glass of water.
Where do mushrooms come from?
The greatest added value of French Mush is the collaborative work between our growers and laboratories. On average, our mushrooms come from 35% France, 25% Holland, 20% Finland, and 20% China.
What is the difference between powder and extracts?
French Mush uses extracts. These are dried mushroom powders that are then extracted. Indeed, the interesting active ingredients of mushrooms cannot be bioavailable in the human body without prior extraction. For your information, 300 grams of dried powder are needed to make 30 grams of extracts. Therefore, French Mush products are very concentrated and among the most effective in Europe.
Are there any side effects or contraindications?
There are no side effects from consuming mushrooms. There may be contraindications with certain medications (anticoagulants, hypertension), do not hesitate to seek advice from your doctor. The product is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

A comprehensive dietary supplement, supporting a balanced lifestyle
The Sport & Silhouette Pack was designed to support the body after excesses, when resuming activity, or in an active routine, by supporting both physical functions and mental motivation. A sustainable change in silhouette does not rely solely on diet or exercise:
- the metabolism must function optimally to better utilize sugars and fats,
- appetite must be regulated without frustration or fatigue,
- digestion and transit must remain comfortable,
- energy and endurance are essential to maintain regular activity and a positive dynamic.
Is this a suitable solution after excesses or parties?
Yes. After a period of excess, the body can be slowed down (heavy digestion, fluctuating energy, decreased motivation).
The synergy of mushrooms helps to regain digestive comfort, more consistent energy, and a better overall balance, gradually.
What is the philosophy of the Sport & Silhouette Pack?
The Sport & Silhouette Pack does not promise unrealistic transformations.
It is part of a simple and sustainable approach:
- move with more energy
- listen to your body better
- manage your intake better
- feel good in your silhouette naturally
The silhouette is not only shaped by effort
You can exercise several times a week, train seriously, go through cardio or strength training sessions, and yet feel like you're exhausting yourself for nothing due to a lack of results. The extra pounds remain, the belly swells, fatigue sets in, and weight loss remains irregular.
This gap between the efforts made through physical activity and weight loss mainly reveals one thing: your body doesn't respond solely to effort, but to a much broader set, including metabolism, digestion, stress management, nutritional intake, and recovery capacity. Without this balance, even regular physical activity can become counterproductive for losing weight and gaining vitality.
When the body resists despite training
Intense training increases the body's needs for energy, nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. If these needs are not met, the body compensates, tires more quickly, recovers less well, stores more fat, and naturally slows down weight loss.
Sport and slimming, the importance of the metabolic terrain
Metabolism is often mentioned when it comes to slimming, as if it only concerned weight loss. In reality, it is at the heart of everything, especially when you exercise. It decides how your body uses energy, how it manages calories, carbohydrates, fats, amino acids, proteins... but also how it handles effort, recovers after training, and deals with muscle fatigue.
When the metabolism is supported, the body responds, adapts, recovers faster, and burns more efficiently. When it is under stress, however, everything becomes more complicated, even with regular sporting activity.
Blood sugar (level), cortisol, digestion: this is where everything can go wrong
Blood sugar (level) that fluctuates often leads to those cravings that appear without warning, especially after a workout. Cortisol increases when the body is stressed or when training sessions follow one another without real recovery. Over time, it can slow down fat burning and cause the body to store fat as a protective reflex.
And then there's digestion. When it slows down, when the belly swells, or when you feel heavy, it's a sign that your body is not assimilating well. Energy circulates less, recovery becomes more complicated. This is where everything plays out because slow or difficult digestion disrupts the absorption of essential nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Your body assimilates less well, eliminates toxins less effectively, and this affects your energy, recovery, and figure. Bloating, water retention, a feeling of heaviness: these are all signals of a metabolism under stress.
Why take a sports and slimming dietary supplement?
It is common to contrast sports dietary supplements with weight loss supplements, as if one had to choose between performance and weight loss. In reality, the two are deeply connected.
Exercise increases nutritional needs
Sports activities engage the muscles, the nervous system, and the entire body. They increase the need for nutrients, vitamins, minerals like magnesium, and available energy. Without appropriate dietary support, fatigue sets in, recovery slows down, and performance decreases. To protect itself, your body may then limit weight loss and thus preserve its reserves.
The purpose of a sports and weight loss dietary supplement
A dietary supplement for sports activity and weight loss should not necessarily aim to force the body to burn more. It should help it function better by supporting endurance, recovery, and stress management, while allowing for gradual slimming.
